The Association for Training on Trauma and Attachment in Children (ATTACh) is proud to present our 33rd Annual International Conference, Together We Heal: Restore. Relate. Educate. an in-person, education and training event. Our conference is an engaging, thought-provoking, and inclusive space, and an opportunity where attendees network, learn, and share cross-cultural experiences of various methods, strategies and research used to improve the outcomes of children and youth living with trauma, attachment as well as associated developmental and mental health-related concerns.

Parent Registration Scholarships

This year, we are excited to host Luncheon Keynote, Dr. Stephen W. Porges, Distinguished University Scientist at Indiana University, and founding director of the Traumatic Stress Research Consortium at the Kinsey Institute.

PRESENTATION: Attachment through the Polyvagal Lens where he will participate in an interactive discussion with Dr. Norm Thibault, LMFT, Director of Three Points Center and Board President of ATTACh and conclude with a rare, live Q&A session with attendees.

ABOUT: In 1994 Dr. Porges proposed the Polyvagal Theory, a theory that links the evolution of the mammalian autonomic nervous system to social behavior and emphasizes the importance of physiological state in the expression of behavioral problems and psychiatric disorders. The theory is leading to innovative treatments based on insights into the mechanisms mediating symptoms observed in several behavioral, psychiatric, and physical disorders.
