The Association for Training on Trauma and Attachment in Children (ATTACh) is proud to present our 33rd Annual International Conference, an in-person, education and training event for those working in the fields of occupational therapy, mental health, child welfare, education and other child and family-related professions plus parents/caregivers and organizations from all over the world. This year, we are excited to host Dr. Stephen W. Porges, internationally esteemed trauma expert, Distinguished University Scientist at Indiana University, and founding director of the Traumatic Stress Research Consortium at the Kinsey Institute. He will present the Friday, October 1, Luncheon Keynote: Attachment through the Polyvagal Lens where he will participate in a rare, interactive discussion with Dr. Norm Thibault, LMFT, Director of Three Points Center and Board President of ATTACh and conference attendees.
This engaging, thought-provoking, and inclusive space is an opportunity where our attendees network, learn, and share cross-cultural experiences of various methods, strategies and research used to improve the outcomes of children and youth living with trauma, attachment as well as associated developmental and mental health-related concerns.
Every year, our attendees look forward to receiving a high-quality, expert-led professional development and parent/caregiver support experience that offers an outstanding set of keynote speakers, training sessions, educational workshops and resources plus fun social events and gatherings for parents, occupational therapists, and professionals.
