Paidea Child Development Center 949 Geneva Ave N., Oakdale, MN, United StatesAttachment ruptures and developmental trauma derails healthy development for young children. The effects of trauma and attachment is particularly challenging for educators and day care providers to address because young children often don't express the distress they are feeling in a way that's easily recognizable, and they mask their pain with aggressive or off-putting behavior. It is vital that teachers and childcare providers are aware of the signs of trauma and attachment issues and how to implement protective factors and respond appropriately.
