Julia is a licensed clinical social worker who has been working in the mental health field since 2018. A former school social worker, Julia is particularly passionate about working with youth and young adults. Areas of specialty include trauma and attachment, self-harm, depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation, as well as neurodiverse and LGBTQ+ populations. Julia works with a professional therapy dog to provide animal-assisted therapy and employs a number of client-centered, evidence-based modalities to support clients, based upon the foundation of a compassionate and empathetic therapist-client relationship.
