Participants will learn about adult and child attachment styles, the impact of survival mechanisms on arousal levels in the brain, behaviors associated with attachment difficulties and developmental trauma, and strategies for attachment-focused parenting and teaching.

ZoomLearn about: Childhood development through attachment and trauma lens Terminologies and schools of though ACES Theories of attachment and trauma, interpersonal neurobiology Current psychotherapeutic modalities and techniques Sensory, somatic, and brain-based traumagenic differences 80 CE Hours includes 44 hours self-directed learning, 30 hours live virtual instruction, and 6 hours live virtual learning implementation. WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Therapists, Clinicians, Mental Health Professionals, School Counselors.
Level 3: OT Attachment and Trauma in Practice – Part 9
ZoomThe Level 3: Occupational Therapy – Attachment and Trauma in Practice training series engages small groups focused on theory, the deeper impact of trauma and attachment, and participant case studies. Participants will receive a template to support information sharing. Scores are derived according to a rubric at the end of the course with an emphasis on growing one’s understanding, not on pass/fail. Upon completion of Level 3, 20 NBCOT CE hours available. ATTACh will acknowledge the participant’s full completion of the training with a certificate of attendance. Prerequisite: Level 2 Assessment for Attachment and Trauma
