HOPE FOR LEARNING:

Early intervention trauma- and attachment-focused training for early childhood education and childcare professionals

Hear from a past attendee:

“The ATTACh Trauma-Informed Webinar Series has been transformative for our Aspire Day School team. This series provided invaluable insights into the complexities of trauma and its profound impact on children’s behavior and learning. Every session was expertly curated, offering practical strategies that our staff could immediately apply to create a safer, more supportive environment for our students. The emphasis on empathy, understanding, and resilience reinforced our commitment to trauma-informed care, and our team feels better equipped to meet each child where they are. We wholeheartedly recommend this series to any organization aiming to enhance their trauma-informed approach!”

Attachment ruptures and developmental trauma derails healthy development for young children. The effects of trauma and attachment is particularly challenging for educators and day care providers to address because young children often don’t express the distress that they are feeling in a way that’s easily recognizable, and they mask their pain with aggressive or off-putting behavior. It is vital that teachers, school staff, and childcare providers are aware of the signs of trauma and attachment issues and how to implement protective factors and respond appropriately.

Through Hope for Learning, teachers, school staff, and childcare professionals will:
